Jared A. Levy, a partner in the Morgan & Morgan Business Trial Group, leads the firm’s investment recovery practice. He represents investors who suffered financial losses due to brokerage-firm, investment-advisor, and bank misconduct. He also represents plaintiffs in complex business disputes involving corporate divorces, deceptive trade practices, legal malpractice, breaches of contract and fiduciary duties, and usury.
Levy represents all clients on a contingency basis. His litigation philosophy is simple: fight aggressively to maximize the case’s value and push the case to trial as quickly as possible. Jared practices in state and federal courts, and handles securities arbitrations throughout the country. Throughout Levy’s career, he has helped clients recover tens of millions of dollars and has won multiple seven-figure trial verdicts.
Levy has been recognized as Florida’s “Legal Elite” – an honor that less than 1.5% of fellow Florida Bar members have received – by Florida Trend Magazine. He has been appointed to the Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Committee for multiple years. In addition, he is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, a national group dedicated to fighting for investors against the nation’s largest financial institutions.
Levy began his career as a federal district court judicial clerk and then worked for the national law firm of White & Case LLP. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, he was a partner at a boutique litigation firm, where he represented clients in investment and business disputes for more than a decade.
